This website is in loving Memory of Seferino Perez Villarreal Jr. who was also known as S.P. or El VeVe. This website is composed of Spiritual Scriptures that our dad truly believed in. Our purpose in this website is to share the heart of our Dad and to help those who maybe facing tough times.
Our Patriarch - A slave of Christ.
A Patriarch is defined as the head, founder and leader of a family or tribe - etc.
Seferino Perez Villarreal Jr was born in the small town of Kenedy, Texas on August 1, 1930 and
past away June 25, 2008.
Seferino Perez Villarreal was a Temple on Wheels - Providing Mobile Temple Services !!!
As the Scriptures say - We are the Temple of the Living God !!!!!
A man of God,this is how a local Pentecostal preacher described him.
He was also definitely A Man Who Cared for The Next Generation. Even for those not yet born.
We want to take some time to acknowledge the work of a Caring and Loving Father.
And at this time we want to thank God for giving us a great father, mentor and friend.
Seferino Perez Villarreal Jr., was a man who had compassion for others.
Compassion
is defined as a feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune, accompanied by a strong desire to helpout through their suffering.
Seferino Perez Villarreal Jr.belonged to a small United Methodist Church
although he attended several local churches in and around the area. Many people He knew thought He actually ran a local church He attended and helped build.
He had a great sense of humor and a big heart. Even in his final visits to a hospital
he made many people laugh. He was even described as a joker by a worker at a hospital about a month before he past away.
He was a man who lived by Faith. His faith was demonstrated by maintaining the church property and his willingness to work with those in need within his community. Our Dad did things like invite people to church and visit people in need at the local jail house. He also provided
Good Samaritan services for others by taking them to get their medical attention.
He even went as far as lending his vehicles to others when they were in need.
Even in his final three days He displayed his unfailing love by winking his eye at us.
all about. He taught many of us what love is really all about - by hugging and kissing us. Dad
We will miss you the rest of our lives.
And now we can only recognize the suffering of his life and his devotion to God through it all.
No matter what came his way , He remained faithful to the Lord.
***** Being a church leader is good but Being a Good Samaritan is even better *****
Love and Compassion - Is Faith in Action
True religion demands social compassion towards those in need. It reveals our status and relationship with God and People in Need.
1 John 3 : 17
17 If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person? 18 Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.
Faith without Good Deeds Is Dead
Love is expressed by our desire to do good for others
James 2 : 14
24 So you see, we are shown to be right with God by what we do, not by faith alone.
First Peter 1 :13
13 So think clearly and exercise self-control. Look forward to the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world.
14 So you must live as God’s obedient children. Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn’t know any better then. 15 But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy. 16 For the Scriptures say, “You must be holy because I am holy.”
17 And remember that the heavenly Father to whom you pray has no favorites. He will judge or reward you according to what you do. So you must live in reverent fear of him during your time as “foreigners in the land.”
Can anything ever separate us from Christ's love?
Second Corinthians 1 : 3
God offers comfort to all !!
All praise to God , the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ . God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others . When they are troubled , we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.
For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with
his comfort through Christ .Even when we are weighed down with troubles , it is for your comfort
and salvation.! For when we ourselves are comforted , we will certainly comfort you.
verse 8
We think you ought to know , dear brothers and sisters , about the trouble we went through in the province of Asia . We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it . In fact , we expected to die. But as a result ,
we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead.
And he did rescue us from mortal danger, and will rescue us again. We have placed our confidence in him, and he will continue to rescue us.
The Meaning of Life !!!
Tragic Times comes to us at some time or another. And these
tragic times can sometimes bring us to wonder why.
Human suffering is something that people reflect on at some time or another. The book of Job addresses this difficult question. The story of Job is that of a godlyman who endured an substantial amount of human suffering while remaining faithful to God.
But the Bible describes Job as a servant of
God--blameless --a man of complete integrity who feared God and stayed away from evil .
In this book you will learn of a patriarch who had great concern for his family.
You may also be surprised to discover that Job seemed to be a worrier. He didn't
just worry about his own purity but also the purity of his family.
The book of Job tells us that Job offered a burnt offering sacrifice for each of them. For Job was worried that his children may have sinned and cursed God in their hearts. This was Job's regular practice. Throughout all this Job realized that ultimately God was in charge and knows what he is doing.
For some of us a tragedy may simply be our start to search for the meaning of life??? Yet to most Godly people it has been a time to acknowledge our way of living and our way of doing things.
And this has lead to many believers to be inspired by the words of Psalms number
32,34, and 41.
Situations like these have brought many people to a state of discouragement and loneliness.
The Bible tells us of many people in Bible times who went through the same obstacles we face in this life. And their experiences have been recorded to help those who now
face these tragic times.
As you read through the book of Psalms you learn that King David
was a Bible character who faced similiar times of discouragement.
David the Great King faced times of worry, discouragement and fear. Yes David the Great King.
Times like these has lead many to acknowledge our selfish ways and our need for the Word of God.
Enduring Tough Times

Second Corinthians 4 : 13
But we continue to preach because we have the same kind of faith the Psalmst had when he said, I believed in God so I spoke. We know that God, who raised the Lord Jesus, will also
raise us with Jesus and present us to Himself together with you. All of this is for your benefit.
And as God's grace reaches more and more people , there will be great thanksgiving , and God will recieve more and more glory.
That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won't last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don't look at the troubles we can see now , rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
13 And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own[a] by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago. 14 The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.
